Welcome back, to The Wigglian Way. Happy Springtime, or Autumn
if you are in the Southern Hemisphere. I (Sparrow) love the smell
of the ocean in the rain. It is fresh and a new beginning.
Mojo had the opportunity to have a chat with Ashley Mortimer who is a director of The Centre For
Pagan Studies and a trustee of the Doreen Valiente Foundation
and a prominent member of the international pagan community.
Tonight’s feature album is by Malkin Tower, a London based folk rock band. Malkin
Tower is reminiscent Gypsy (Enchantress), who I danced to with my
sons when they were children.
From their album The Mistletoe Bride we hear The
Mistletoe Bride, I am The Witch, Call the Morrigu.
Our second set is two songs by Leaves’ Eyes. The first is
Scarborough Fair from Njord. The second song is
Elegy from Vinland Saga.
You know, this thing that we are all doing? This trying to figure
out who we are and why we are here at this point of time at this
particular place, what is it for? It is hard. Really really hard.
We know this. We experience this. So do others. Take a deep
breathe. Exhale all that breathe. Do that two more times. Now,
reach out to someone. Make a connection. That’s what it’s all
about. Love.
